Meet Maya Hiersoux

Maya Hiersoux was born in San Francisco and raised in North Bekreley. As a true San Franciso Bay Area native, Maya is keenly intimate with the different neighborhoods, microclimates, and lifestyles of the East Bay.

Maya earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from Revelle College at U.C. San Diego. Following college, she worked at Bayer Healthcare in the Public Policy and Communications Department as an ambassador and spokesperson for the corporation. While there, she used her marketing, strategic, and collaborative skills to run community relations integrating the public, private, and academic sectors for the benefit of all resulting in award-winning programs.

Having worked in the Public Policy and Communications field for many years, Maya is comfortable being an advocate in the community, and this skill set has proven invaluable for my real estate profession and my clients. Being of service is paramount to Maya and this shines through in my interactions and communications with her clients.

Maya earned my Business and Executive Coaching degree at New Ventures West. She continually brings her whole self to life and my profession as a Realtor, along with the skills and techniques that she learned in the Integral development coaching program.

Maya has an adventurous spirit, a positive attitude, abundant marketing, and community relations expertise, and yearns to excel in everything she does.

Maya began my real estate career at Better Homes and Gardens and was awarded Rising Star in her first year and remained a top producer until she moved to the Grubb Co.

Above all, Maya is the extremely proud mother of a 7-year young boy. She and her son live in Oakland where she enthusiastically volunteers her time at her son’s school and is Chairman of the Annual Fundraising Auction. In her free time, she makes my own greeting cards, creates community where ever she is, spends time with her family at Lake Tahoe, ski, and enjoys traveling
